Minnesota-Tan - 'Number Four'

Uhhhhh... Wasn't sure what to call Wisconsin, since, ya know, it's called 'Minnesota-Tan' for a reason. Went with Kevin, since I can see him fitting that name somehow... Even if I don't think it's German, which Wisconsin is supposed to be, luls
Also, yes, I think I'm gonna barely make WIxMN canon. Barely. Like, if you squint *Points at the end of this particular story*
It's super short, I know, but I needed to get this done, 'cause football opener was last week or something

Every year, the states would hold a football season opener party. Every year, some fight came out of it. Of course, it was never as big as the Superbowl parties, but almost everyone had a team during this part of the year, whereas only two were left at the Superbowl.
Wisconsin was stuffing a nacho into his mouth when he heard another person mention Farve. He had already yelled at them several times for it, but was now reduced to a scowl at anyone who dared say that name around him. Sure, Farve would probably forever be one of his favorites, but this year was something he needed to block out. Farve decided to go over to their rival’s team. In other words, Minnesota’s.
The house went quiet and his train of thought halted, wondering in worry for a second if his thoughts had leaked out his mouth. Of course, he was sure everyone knew what he was thinking for the past month, but eating nachos and ranting was kinda awkward.
His dark green eyes gave up their stare at the bowl in front of him and edged towards the doorway, his ears picking up on whispers from his fellow states. Sure enough, standing in the doorway was Minnesota, a cocky smile on his pale face and in a purple jersey with a number four on it.
Wisconsin was sure a vein or something popped in his head.
“DAMN IT, SVEN!” He roared at his brother state.
Minnesota’s grin grew slightly at being recognized. He was obviously doing this for attention and to make Wisconsin pissed off the rest of the season, since, after being bugged so much by New York’s press, he finally admitted to the state that he wasn’t sure if it was such a great decision. This, of course, was leaked throughout the country. Minnesota hadn’t known what to do with all attention, but eventually figured he should flaunt it for the year, since Wisconsin was so fun to mess with, especially with their already established rivalry in football.
“What? You have something against purple?” Minnesota called from the doorway, aging on Wisconsin.
“Green is a heck of a lout better!” Michigan’s Upper Peninsula hollered with his usual Canadian accent. “Eh, Kevin?” He had found himself next to Wisconsin, but several states looked around the room, trying to detect the source of it.
Wisconsin nodded towards the UP and turned back to Minnesota. “Whatever, Sven! We’re gonna beat ya so badly this year, jus’ fur taking Favre!” He growled, crossing his arms and restraining his urge to punch random people.
Minnesota merely smiled again, his blue-gray eyes rippling with the smirk that was on his face moments ago. “We’ll jus’ see about that.” Was his reply as he walked towards Wisconsin, taking a nacho from the bowl in front of him and winked, excited for the competition this year. Turning on his heel, Minnesota found his way to the TV room and most of the house lapped back into their normal conversations.
