Darkness

the lack of life
the lack of day
the lack of anything good to say
the world is filled with it
yet fears it
but it is not the enemy
for it helps the unkind and the sneaky
the words that fall from my lips
donot lie like somany before
the darkness isnt the end
but the beginning for more

Visiting the Grave yard

I wake up in darkness
not a thing to be heard
I put on an old dress
that looks quite absurd
I walk out in daylight
to find a good friend
for when I got there
her grave stone I read
as the light diminished
I sit there and cry
for my poor friend
who had to die

Lost Life

Tock
clock time is slow
dum
da-dum
my heart beat is slow
open shut
I cant stay awake

the doctor is late
Open
Stare
I'm dead and don't care

Heart Surgery

I sit
I wait
What happens?
nothing
the clock ticks
my heart beats
but does hers
faster the blur
nausea rising
finally they call her
Im ready for the worst
but hope for the best
the wheelchair comes through
a tear escapes my eye
her half-hearted smile
just like inside

Bus Ride

rumble rumble dirt road
stop and pick up the next load
honk beep city street
strop again another set of feet
flash of light loud noise
hear the scream of the boys
in and out I breathe for a friend
no one is coming
I know it is the end

Problems

past and present co-inside
when people and things realize
if nothing is done
the future goes away
but as history the past will stay
if the present is history in the making
then are we not now
history in the breaking
for our economy is bad
and we have a great wound to heal
there is no band-aids big enough to seal
not saying that the choices are bad
but am not saying they are good
for the determination of such things are not to me

you act like your there for me
where are you when I cry
where are you when I break down
where are you
I feel the painful sarrow dripping back
like the after shock numbness is falling away
People around feeling my pain hurts
but not sharing the burden is worse
I feel nothing accept the pain
The taers fall and they dont stop
I fall and don't stop
Into a hole of nothingness

Insanity Speaking Poetry

Brick red blue sea
these are the colors
these are the means
people who hate
people who love
the story never ending
the history just begun
now I could sit and talk all day
the opposites could fill the night
the minor scale on the piano
and a major stain on my pants
Just because they think your insane
doesn't mean you are
but it is a suggestion to get a
physiologist
take the suggestion and run with it

falling hole of impending doom
ceasing hands of love and hope
lifeless days
sleepless nights
worlds apart
yet so close
If i fell would your hand be there
will you be there
I need the help
the hands
the hearts
but they aren't always there
sometimes I have to pull myself back up
if you were there i would feel better
i might not even fall
but to many times they haven't been there
and too many times I've fallen
only myself for support
so will you be there
to help me
to catch me

The gleam in his eye
the smile on his face
hes stolen my heart
I've taken his to replace
for he loves as much as I
yet we see so little time
side by side
yet longer I wait
he is worth every second
I feel so alone
he loves me I reckon'
but the world is cruel
I know not our fate
for I'm lost and alone
my heart is irrate
