Trick 0 - Unfinished
The dirt swirled around Kazu's feet as he walked down an empty unpaved road. He breathed out a small sigh and looked up at plane passing by overhead. The sky seemed to be unusually more far away from him today than it was yesterday. A part of him was tugging at his chest, telling him to join the plane in it's flight, but Kazu knew this wasn't possible. It was pretty childish, he though, still dreaming of flying high above the grounds he walked on everyday. A cloud engulfed the plane in a white fluff and Kazu looked back down at the swirling dirt.
The pathway let off crunching noises to his left, someone was approaching, no, more like they were running away, but Kazu didn't even want to be bothered with so much as a smile. He kept his head down and continued to walk.
Seconds later, two bodies collided, and Kazu found himself laying face-up on the gravel. He was half expecting for the other person so be laying across from him, or at least offer to help him up from the ground. Instead, the gravel continued to make that crunching noise and it seemed to be getting farther away too. Kazu propped himself up on one elbow and turned to take a took behind him. A bright orange boy was running barefoot with a pair of what seemed to be a pair of AT's swung over his shoulder. He continued to glance behind him, like he was paranoid. Kazu stood and turned back to look up the path, there was nobody else coming his way, so what was that boy running from? And why was he running barefoot when he had Air Treks with him?
