PROLOGUE

"Who-Who're you?!" The old woman pleaded on her knees in the dirty and deserted train station. Her eyes were a very light gray and filled to the brim with tears, fear all across her face.
"Your travel agent..." The shadow in front of her whispered, enjoying it's job as a shinigami.
"No!" The woman grabbed the cross around her neck like that would stop her from dying.
"You're already dead, idiot..." The shadow whispered, a bit irritated. It disliked the people who refused their death.
The lady's old hands quivered and she suddenly snapped the necklace off her neck. "The power of Christ!" She screamed, her shaky voice echoing in the station.
"Ch..." The shadow clicked it's tongue in disgust. It really didn't like these religious people, either. Seemed like they always thought they could stop death. "Just come with me--"
The woman had bolted up and stabbed the shadow with a knife she had hidden on her. Her old, wrinkled face slowly twisted from a satisfied smile to a horrified look. No blood was coming from the shadow or anything.
The shadow stiffled it's laughter at first, but now it was too much and she had to let it out. Her laugh burst out and rung with an pure evil tone. The woman hunched to the ground, covering her ears. The shadow slowly revealed itself by stepping out into the dim light, still laughing. She looked like a teenage girl with pitch black hair. It was pulled over her face, covering her left eye. Black cat ears and tail were swinging around in laughter. The outfit was simple, black and white with the lightest possible skin tone. Her pale arm slid the dagger from her stomach, still chuckling slightly. She threw it to the floor and wipped the tears from her eyes. "Aah, thanks for the laugh! Too bad you have to leave Earth now." Her right eye opened for the first time while talking with the old lady. The pupil dialated and gave her a crazed look. It swept the station with quick glances, then stopped at the old shivering mass on the floor.
"N-No!" She shreiked, watching the eye start to glow as it absorbed her life.
