Sora: The hero of the story and the Keyblade's chosen one. He has a pure heart and he's not too bright sometimes. He seems to get along with almost anyone he meets. He can get kinda full of himself sometimes. He tends to act on his own when something damages his pride. Perhaps he's a bit stubborn.

Riku: Sora's best friend. He's like an older brother to Sora. He keeps a cool and composed shell, but his heart is softer than that. He was once swallowed by the darkness thanks to Xehanhort's Heartless who claimed himself as Ansem. He also is very stubborn. He tends to shoulder many burdens to protect his friends, just to find out that it just caused more problems for them in the end. After he took the form of "Ansem" in Kingdom Hearts II, he didn't want to face any of his friends, afraid that they would reject him or think everything was his fault. Or not to hurt them. Whenever he's down, his friends are there to catch him. He also has a KeyBlade that looks almost identical to his previous weapon "Soul Eater."

Kairi: A "Princess of Heart." Her heart is pure and free of darkness. Her heart was needed to open the Door to Darkness in the first Kingdom Hearts game. She is a good friend to Sora and Riku. Though it's not ever stated in the the game, we're pretty sure that she loves Sora, and Sora loves her. Riku also liked Kairi in the first game, which is implied in the first game. She would do anything so save her friends if they were in trouble. She even got her own Keyblade in the second game, which she used to help Sora and Riku defeat a mass of Heartless in The Castle That Never Was.




Organization XIII

Xemnas: Number I in the Organization. He is the Nobody of Xehanhort. He doesn't want to use Kingdom Hearts to become a human again, he wants to use its power to create a new world in his vision.
